ALAGIE ADAMA SOSSEH
Mr. Sosseh was a Finance Manager at Sharab Medical Center and was responsible for all of the company’s Finance operations, including end-to-end management of Sharab finance department, sales activities, and service. He also headed Sharab Medical center Internal
Audit department and played a key role in the internal control system, ensuring standard operating system are put in place (Risk management, culture and way of doing successful business. consulting services for some organization as supervisor to their accounts department, companies like Tivaouane travel and tour, Smart professional college, Taiseer Medical Laboratory etc.).
He had Started working at Sharab Medical Center in May 2015 and he had held several responsibilities starting from a cashier and in less in one year he was able to level-up his skills and prove his ability to run the accounts department, he stayed in the position of the head of the accounts for five years. His ambition is always to earn more experience and forge
his skills, therefore he decided to partner and invest in an accounts consultancy establishment to share his knowledge with other businesses in how to grow and build a
steady and stable business.
The following is a narration of some of the skills and experiences that he has gained
throughout his career:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for monthly performance review and
management decision making.
• Monitoring and tracking performance and conducting analysis of trend on potential
income and expenditure against budget by explaining variances and bench marking
against the industry data to support the analysis.
• Preparation of weekly, forth-nightly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Preparation of monthly remittance of PAYE, Withholding tax, and corporation tax on
• Preparation of monthly salaries and national provident fund contribution and
maintaining the payroll register.• Maintaining the fixed assets register and calculating monthly depreciation for each
class of assets Supervise and reviewed the work carried out by finance officers in the financial control department and assist the financial controller strategic development for performance improvement.
Mr. Sosseh earned an ACCA Level 2 Certificate at Management Development Institute
Gambia, and he is still pursuing more educational courses.
His Interests include investments, individual mastery of the operational skills necessary to initiate and sustain a new business.
