BACKGROUND
Welcome reader to the profile of the managing partner of HAM Consulting. I have worked since 1995
in all units of a finance department such as payroll processing, sales ledger management, in payables, cashiering, treasury, financial reporting and financial analysis. I qualified as an ACCA in 2004 and since 2005 have worked in internal audit/controls at most senior level.
Aside from official employment I have been consulting since 2008/9 with different companies and organisations. These include for profit and not-for profit organisations in different capacities as a financial consult, supervisor of finance departments, outsourced finance functions, auditor, etc.
These engagements spanned most sectors such as retail, financial services, health/medical, I served as internal verifier for AAT in The Gambia for 3 years helping in ensuring compliance and competence in the AAT course. My consultancies included business plan write-ups for prominent businesses of today such as for QTV, QMoney, etc. I have also conducted quite a few due diligences for prominent businesses such as Agib, Pristine Consulting, etc.
In the course of these engagements I have been appointed board member/director to various companies such as Filos, Heewal, Taiseer, etc.
With above range of engagements and expertise it has widened my network and introduced me to
influential and highly intelligent colleagues and partners.
My interest mainly is in investments, joint ventures and mentoring businesses to thrive or reorganize to better understand their markets and streamline their processes for better performance.
